TED.com Tuesday #2 – Johnny Lee’s Wii remote hacks

OK here’s your next TED to check out:  Johnny Lee has hacked a Wii controller so you can use it as an interactive whiteboard.  FOR CHEAP.  If you buy these from your office furniture dealership, you will spend THOUSANDS of dollars.  As suggested by Lee, let’s get them into the schools!  Wouldn’t it be great if a bunch of techie guys & gals donated their time to do the hacks, and the schools paid the $40 for the controller (or they were donated also) ?

  1. I love that we are on the other side now, promoting hacked wii controllers versus “smart” boards and expensive room wizards. Eeek.
